The year 2009, when Japanese astronaut Koich Wakabayashi stayed at ISS, is "the International Year of Astronomy", the 400th anniversary year since Galileo Galilei invented a telescope and became the first human observed the space.
Analytical instruments are used for space observatory and research, therefore, this year's science seminar is titled "Space to Explore and to Utilize" in conjunction with the international year of astronomy.

At JAIMA PARK (hall 4), panels related to the astronomy are displayed with the cooperation of Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency - JAXA, where the utilization of analytical technology and instruments is shown with beautiful pictures of space. |
